I feel like I’m lighting a wet cigarette
With a lamp only plugged in the dirt
I’m three degrees gone from the sense that I’m on
My way out from nothing to hurt

I’m somewhat fatigued by the subtle intrigue
With the way I cope with a loss

As if without accruing a cost

This engine runs well, but it’s just out of means

For the auto’s on blocks, but it’s laden with locks
And the keys have all been melted down

I’d go to your show, but there’s something about it

I’m not really certain this paints you a picture
Or less that it draws a conclusion
Like an artist without any meaning or clout
